P.U.M.A. stands for the Professional Unification of Martial Arts. Created in 2000 the organisation now has schools reaching far across the UK.
Clifton and Henleaze Schools of Taekwondo are proud to have been a part of the PUMA family since its formation.
As members we have access to an entire tournament circuit, seminars, camps, and tutorials. There are also regular training sessions with the British squad as well as Bong Jang (Bo Staff) Kickboxing and FAST Defence. (Fear and Adrenaline Stress Training)
There are also regular opportunities to travel abroad as part of the international tournament circuit, patterns tours in Korea and teaching trips to Ghana in Africa.
A number of specialist seminars are put on throughout the year including the annual P.U.M.A. Day - traditionally the 1st Sunday of September, where instructors from across the country gather for a day long schedule of exciting and interesting master classes.
This is a free event and normally attended by hundreds of P.U.M.A. students from across the nation.
P.U.M.A. also offers regular Bo Staff seminars, Ground Fighting Seminars, Child Safeguarding Training, Instructor Training, Health and Safety advice and much more.
